Application Checklist

To begin the loan approval process, your loan officer will need to get an accurate picture of your financial situation and information about the property you want to buy. Be prepared to furnish the information on this checklist so that your file can be approved quickly. You will need to provide this information for yourself and your spouse or other co-borrowers. To begin the application process, download and print the Application Form, fill it in, and send or bring in the following items, it's that easy!


Information needed at loan application:
1.Title to property ( copy of sale of cash sale or conveyance, copy or mortgage or deed of trust, or copy of survey )
Application fees:
a. Conventional appraisal fee of $300 - $400. (Ask your loan officer for details).
b. Credit report fee of $60.
2. Copy of purchase agreement and earnest money deposit check.
3. Refinances: copy of homeowner's policy and flood insurance policy, if applicable.
4. Most recent payroll check stubs for one month.
5. Copy of driver's license and social security cards.
6. Present and previous addresses for the past two years with landlord's name, address and telephone number.
7. Employer's name and mailing address for the past two years of employment.
8. Name, address, account number and balances of any bank accounts, credit unions or other depositories.
9. Copy of most recent bank or other depository's statements on all accounts for the past two months.
10. Face value of life insurance, as well as cash value, if applicable.
11. Make and year of automobiles and approximate value.
12. Approximate value of all household and personal furnishings.
13. List of all real estate owned, including name, address, and account number of the mortgage holder. If property is rented, a copy of one-year lease is needed.
14. List of all revolving and installment loans, including name, address, account number, monthly payment and balance.
15. VA loans need Certificate of Eligibility. If you do not have a Certificate of Eligibility, bring a Form DD 214, Discharge of Copy.
16. If previously divorced, a copy of divorce decree.
17. If previously filed for bankruptcy, a copy of petition and discharge.
18. If applying for bond loan, you must have past three years of income tax returns, including all W-2's and 1099's. For all other loans, you must have income tax returns for past two years including all W-2's and 1099 forms. If self-employed, you must have corporate returns, a profit and loss statement, and a balance sheet.
