A member of a well-respected entrepreneurial family in New Orleans, Robert F. Eustis grew up absorbing the principals of good business. He is a graduate of Darlington School in Rome, Ga., and received a BA in economics from the University of Denver.
Since 1982, Robert has chaired or directed numerous boards and commissions, including the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency, Louisiana Mortgage Lenders Association, French Market Corporation, Mayor's Citizens Advisory Committee on Housing, YMCA of Greater New Orleans and Louisiana Mortgage Lender's Association. He has served as a member of the Fannie Mae Liaison Committee of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and the Fannie Mae Regional Advisory Board, Southwest Region. The Mortgage Bankers Association awarded him the designation of Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) in 1988. Robert is a former Chairman of the Board of the Nora Bloch Education Communication Foundation, licensee of WWOZ 90.7 FM.
Eustis plays acoustic guitar, mandolin, and bouzouki in The Desoto Street Band.
